Tips to sell faster.
The photo is the first thing a buyer sees, before they even read the title. Use natural light, a plain background (a wall or a plain sheet works better than a patterned rug) and show the whole item, uncropped. If it has a flaw, photograph that up close too: showing it builds more trust than hiding it, and avoids disputes after the sale.
Being honest about condition is the difference between a quick sale and a return. Wallapop and Vinted each have their own, fairly specific condition categories ("new with tags" isn't the same as "new without tags"), and getting it wrong usually ends in a complaint. Fotolista detects the real condition from the photo and uses the exact wording for whichever platform you choose, precisely to avoid that problem.
On price, it's better to undershoot your first instinct than overshoot it: a well-priced item sells within days, an ambitiously priced one can sit for months and ends up dropping anyway, having lost its "new listing" visibility along the way. Fotolista is optimised for second-hand clothing, footwear and accessories, though it works with any type of item: electronics, furniture, books, toys and more.
Why does the condition wording differ between Wallapop and Vinted?
Each platform has its own condition dropdown with its own exact wording (Wallapop uses New / Like new / Good condition / Fair condition; Vinted uses New with tags / New without tags / Very good / Good / Satisfactory). Fotolista detects the real condition from your photo and uses the exact terminology of whichever platform you choose, so you never have to guess which option to pick.
Can I generate the listing for just one platform?
Yes. Before uploading the photo you can choose whether the listing is for Wallapop, Vinted or both. Each platform has its own character limit and its own list of item conditions, so the result adapts to whichever you pick.
How is the price estimated?
The recommended price is based on a visual analysis of the item: type, estimated brand, apparent condition and the UK second-hand market.
